History
ROADBURNERS Motorcycle Club was formed in West Cumbria, U.K. in 1989. The 5 founder members all rode large 4 cylinder Japanese "Roadburner" style bikes, so it was a fitting name for us. To instil a sense of brotherhood and common identity, a single back patch (depicting a bike rider, flames background and Roadburners M.C.C.) was designed and worn by club members. We soon became established as a back-patch m.c.c. travelling to many local rallies, as well as the Kent Custom Bike Show and Bulldog Bash.

Through out the 1990's the club held weekly meetings and parties/rallies at weekends. We also had annual touring holidays around England, Scotland and Ireland. Customised (chopped) Jap bikes, then Harleys and Triumphs became popular with the club. Members came and went but we maintained a tight knit group, committed to the club and biker lifestyle and following our own instincts and values.
By 2004 we started to hold our own winter rock night and spring rally (St. Georges Rally). These have become annual fixtures. In 2006 we had the club logo professionally redesigned, dropping the m.c.c. acronym. We stopped wearing the old patch and replaced it with the new Roadburners/flames logo patch, which is worn by full club members.
In 2009 we celebrated 20 years as Roadburners and the club is still going strong. Best wishes to all Roadburners, friends and associates - past and present and future, respects to all who respect us.
